Security Officer/Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee security operations and ensure the safety and security of our facilities, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in law enforcement or military service, and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing security personnel, implementing surveillance measures, and addressing any conflicts that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security staff to ensure effective coverage of all areas.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or breaches of security.
• Implement and manage surveillance systems including CCTV to enhance safety measures.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms and take appropriate action.
• Train and mentor security personnel on best practices in conflict management and loss prevention.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and daily activities for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry or related fields such as law enforcement or military service.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential risks or issues.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
