Security Supervisor

Kingsley Security is looking for a Security Supervisor for a bustling premier property in Miami Beach.

The Security Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of 8 in protecting and an active lifestyle community with resort style amenities and to enhance the community’s values.

The ideal candidate would have both experience in law enforcement and residential property or hotel management. This ultra luxury building will require exceptional hospitality skills.

Qualifications

Job Skills Requirements:

• Leadership Skills: This role will include managing about 8 security guards. The Supervisor will be responsible for designing a training program and executing it when new team members are onboarded.
• Technical Camera Knowledge: The property is in the process of updating the camera system to an AI enable camera system. Any prior experience with camera systems is a strong plus.
• Procedure Documentation: The SOPs for this property need a complete overhaul and the Director will lead the process during a 2 week onboarding period.
• Strong Communication Skills: Collaborate with other Department Heads from Property Management Company creating a seamless team environment focused on client satisfaction and enjoyment (Strong Team Leadership)
• Familiarity with Building Management property management and fire systems
• Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at an expert level.
• Professional customer service skills.

Computer Skills:

• Company software programs preferred including Building Link and Outlook
• Onsite Hardware; iPads and Desktop Computers

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in law enforcement or equivalent military experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading a team in a luxury residential or hotel.
• Experience in emergency preparedness.
• Class D & G Security License.
• Class M license or the willingness to get one
• Reading, writing and speaking proficiency in the English Language. Spanish is a strong plus.
• A flexible schedule that can accommodate dynamic building needs. o
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
