Unarmed Security Officer

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Responsibilities:

– Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
– Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
– Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
– Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations
– Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
– Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
– Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
– Provide assistance to people in need

Skills:

– Proficient in conflict management and resolution
– Knowledge of CCTV monitoring and operation
– First aid and CPR certification preferred
– Experience in law enforcement or military is a plus
– Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
– Understanding of loss prevention techniques
– Familiarity with surveillance systems
