About the Role

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Security Officer to oversee daily security operations for a premier Class A commercial property. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and building security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and schedule security personnel to ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Maintain a visible presence in the building to deter security risks and build rapport with tenants.
• Oversee access control, visitor management, and security patrols in compliance with Class A building standards.
• Respond to and manage incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a calm and professional manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of posts, equipment, and security systems.
• Train and mentor security staff in customer service, safety procedures, and emergency response.
• Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, shift logs, and staffing schedules.
• Liaise with property management, building engineers, and external agencies when necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized security training preferred.
• 3+ years of security management or supervisory experience, preferably in a Class A building environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with security systems, access control, and incident reporting tools.
• Valid security license or guard card (as required by state/local law).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
