Security Guard at Broward Port – Seasonal (MUST have active TWIC card)

Broward County Sea Port (1 yr guard exp.)

Step 1.Officer Must:

— Be 21 years of age or older

–Have an active/valid TWIC Card

–Have a Valid Florida Security Guard D License (Active Status will be verified in the state system)

–Have a Valid/unexpired Florida Driver’s License (Active Status will be verified in the state system)

–H.S. Diploma/GED, or College Degree

Required Employment Verifications:

–1 yr of verifiable Licensed Security Guard Experience

–or DD-214 Member 4 form with 1 year of Net Active Experience and Honorable

Discharge (If applicable)

Step 2. Pre- Qualifiers for Contract:

–Social Security Card (Need to have the physical card)

–Proof of Citizenship (SSCard or US Passport) or for Legal Resident- Permanent Resident Card or I-551 Form (If applicable) (Need to have the physical card)

–Resume must show month and year and outline the officer’s experience of at least 1 year as a Security Guard experience (OR)

* 1 Year of Security Supervisor experience (OR)

* 1 year Military experience with honorable discharge (OR)

* 1 year Law Enforcement Experience
