Cerberus Risk Management (CRM) is seeking a qualified Security Guard Supervisor for a 40-hour position working 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, Saturday & Sunday, starting at $23 per hour. This role is located at The Miami Veterans Affairs MVAMC Spinal Cord Unit. The candidate will be responsible for security operations, ensuring proper relief at the end of each shift, and potentially covering on-call duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervisory Duties: The Security Guard Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the assigned security team, ensuring all guards fulfill their duties, and staying on post until properly relieved. They will also manage communication and coordination during on-call shifts, addressing any immediate operational issues.
• On-Call Responsibilities: This role requires flexibility, as the Supervisor may need to be available for on-call duties. If an on-call shift is activated, the Supervisor will receive additional pay and will be expected to manage or fill the shift.
• Compliance & Reporting: Maintain adherence to CRM's 5-star standards, conduct detailed incident reporting, and ensure compliance with Chapter 493, Florida Statutes, governing security services.
• Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and monitor surveillance systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Access Control: Enforce access control procedures, ensuring proper identification verification and secure entry/exit of personnel.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, ensuring immediate action in accordance with company protocols and legal regulations.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• First Aid & CPR Certification: Must be trained and certified to provide emergency care.
• D License Required: Must possess a valid Class "D" Security License in compliance with Chapter 493, Florida Statutes.
• Surveillance & CCTV Operation: Ability to monitor surveillance systems effectively and identify security risks.
• Supervisory Experience: Proven leadership experience, capable of managing and motivating security personnel.
• Conflict Resolution & Professionalism: Ability to handle incidents with composure, de-escalating situations when necessary.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, necessary for reporting and interacting with clients and team members.
