We are seeking a professional and well-presented VIP Host with a Guard Card to join our team at a high-end nightclub. This is a night shift position paying $18 per hour with the opportunity to be part of an elite hospitality and security team. The role combines the gracious, welcoming demeanor of a doorman with the essential responsibility of maintaining the safety and security of our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Safety and Security: Manage the security of guests, staff, and venue during operating hours, enforcing policies and maintaining a safe environment.
• 
  Guest Relations: Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring a welcoming and safe atmosphere at all times.
• 
  Manage VIP Access: Control guest access to VIP areas, handle VIP reservations, and ensure smooth entry for high-profile clientele.
• 
  Monitor Entry: Oversee guest list, ticketing, and manage guest entry in compliance with venue policies.
• 
  Conflict Resolution: Address and de-escalate any security or customer service issues quickly and professionally.
• 
  Maintain a Professional Appearance: Dress to impress, adhering to company standards for attire and appearance, while ensuring a neat, polished look.
• 
  Support the Venue’s Operations: Assist with crowd control, line management, and ensure smooth entry and exit for patrons.

What We’re Looking For:

• Guard Card Required: You must have a current and valid Guard Card.
• 
  Presentable & Polite: While the role requires security duties, the ideal candidate will be approachable, well-groomed, and able to handle all situations in a calm, professional manner.
• 
  Security and Nightlife Experience: Previous experience in nightclub security or a similar hospitality environment is preferred.
• 
  Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with guests, staff, and management in a courteous, efficient manner.
• 
  Night Shift Availability: Must be comfortable working night shifts, with hours often extending into early morning.
• 
  Team Player: Work in collaboration with the security team and other venue staff to ensure a seamless experience for all.

  Ability to Stand for Long Periods and Handle Physical Tasks

  Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a dynamic environment with varying noise levels.
• Flexibility for late-night and weekend shifts is a must.
