Position Summary
Ensure the well-being of staff, members and guests who enter the Club property. Confirms all staff, members and guests that arrive and have a need to be at the Club. Ensures security systems and procedures are properly used to protect and secure Club property and assets.
Position Responsibilities
- Greet all members and guests entering and exiting the Club
- Turn away intruders or anyone who does not have official business with the club
- Screen all in-bound traffic to Club property (vehicle and pedestrian). If person is not a member enter license plate number, vehicle type and color, and member name they are visiting and arrival time on log sheet
- Check the personal bags of all caddies for any objects not allowed per Club rules
- Direct all deliveries (arriving within the proper time frame, 7:00am 11:30am & 1:00pm 3:00pm), member guests and visitors to proper location within the Club, notify proper person of their arrival
- Field incoming calls (via radio or telephone) regarding security and safety
- Ensure the safekeeping of the Club property inside and outside of the Clubhouse
- Report any occurrences via Incident Report to the Security Supervisor
- Reports maintenance problems immediately to their supervisor so they can report it to the Engineering
Department
- Completes written reports, personal log, recording any and all incidents or occurrences during a shift.
Submits completed reports to the Security Supervisor
- Assist in special investigations as requested by management
- Direct flow of traffic and assist in coordinating vehicle parking on special occasions
- Record employees arriving by bus and carpooling
- Inform any improperly dressed persons of correct attire
- Liaison with law enforcement agencies in the investigation of crimes
- Exchange information with on-coming shift, concerns, safety, security issues and pertinent information.
- Monitor all communication, including e-mails, Passdown Book, and correspondence from DOSS
- As Ranger, regular thorough perimeter checks, including Clubhouse, gates and parking lots
- Properly document Incident Reports, including accidents, injury, or significant incidents.
- Thorough understanding of all alarm systems and protocol
- Ability to respond to an emergency situation as the First Responder and take the necessary safety steps
- Work with outside law enforcement agencies and/or contractual security personnel when utilized for special events
- All other duties as assigned

- Team worker
- Valid Drivers License
- First Aid and CPR Certification encouraged but not mandatory
- Guard Card required
- No dishonorable discharge from military service within the last five years
- Is not a fugitive from justice
- Is not a drug-abuser, drug addict or drug dependent person
- No misdemeanor or felony convictions for theft, assault, criminal mischief or criminal threatening
Education
- Must be at least 18 years of age, be a high school graduate, or have the equivalent such as a GED or
California High School Proficiency Examination
