Part-Time Event Security Guard – LA

About the Role:

Orchid Protection Services is seeking part-time Event Security Guards to help ensure the safety and security of attendees at concerts, conventions, and other large-scale events. This is an exciting opportunity to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments, protecting guests, staff, and performers while maintaining a professional presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol event venues to ensure crowd control and overall security
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
• Enforce venue rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Conduct bag checks and access control to prevent unauthorized entry
• Assist in evacuation procedures or emergency responses when necessary
• Communicate effectively with event organizers, law enforcement, and emergency personnel
• Provide a friendly yet authoritative presence to ensure guest safety

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in event security or crowd management is a plus
• Valid security guard license
• Strong observational and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to stay alert and composed in high-energy environments
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and event staff
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting as needed
