Newegg is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Risk and Security Manager to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of security and safety programs across all corporate offices and warehouse facilities. This role plays a critical part in protecting company assets, ensuring the safety of employees and property, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations—including OSHA standards. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with HR, Legal, and Operations teams to establish and enforce comprehensive policies and procedures for physical security, corporate safety, emergency preparedness, and loss prevention.
- Security Oversight & Incident Management

- Manage day-to-day physical security operations for all company facilities, including access control, guard coverage, surveillance, and response protocols.
- Oversee internal security staff and third-party contractors; ensure quality and adherence to security standards.
- Lead investigations of security incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective/preventive measures.
- Coordinate emergency response activities and develop scenario-based response plans.
- Policy Development & Compliance

- Create, implement, and update companywide security and safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and emergency protocols.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including OSHA, fire codes, and local safety standards.
- Partner with Legal, HR, and Operations to align safety/security protocols with corporate policies and labor law requirements.
- Facility & Safety Management

- Conduct facility risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities across offices, data centers, and warehouse environments.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics leadership to enforce safety and access protocols, equipment handling guidelines, and loss prevention procedures.
- Oversee the implementation of safety signage, training programs, evacuation plans, and drills at all sites.
- Training & Cross-Functional Engagement

- Act as a key point of contact for cross-departmental initiatives involving security and safety measures.
- Coordinate with public safety agencies, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
- Budget & Technology Oversight

- Recommend and implement capital investments in safety/security infrastructure and technology.
