Assistant Software Programmer (React, Node, Javascript) and Grave Security Guard

This is two jobs in one: a security guard who also has software development skills, familiar with React, Node and Javascript. While working at one of our quiet posts and as a guard, you will also assist us develop a time and attendance and scheduling software solution that will have a special HR – messages tool, ensuring there are no problems in the workplace such as:

*all previous pay was complete and accurate

*meal and rest breaks were taken consistent with law

*no harassment, discrimination, off-the-clock-work, injury

Our guard company already has an Excel-based time and attendance, scheduling, messaging and invoicing system. Instead of relying on our employees to clock-in, we use our scheduler to create and send employee timesheets. The HR message accompanies the timesheet and employees verify everything is correct. Our Excel-based HR messaging system is so effective we hired several software junior soltware developers, all recent graduates, to create an improved online version written in Javascript, Node, and React. It’s worth emphasizing that we prefer someone willing to also learn our core security guard business as well, taking on some simple security-related tasks. This is NOT a remote position. Flexible hours and work schedule is appreciated. We realize pay is low, this being a start-up business, but we’re hoping to launch a successful software time and attendance/scheduling company and we all stand a chance, based on the strength of the concept, to grow vocationally and financially.
