Security Guard – Flex/Rover/Floater

We are in immediate need to hire full and part time /Flex/Rover Officers.

Flex/Rover guards are security officers who have a valid CA Guard Card and must have reliable transportation and be able to go to multiple posts. As a Flex Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment at various client sites. Your role will involve patrolling different locations, responding to security incidents, and providing a visible security presence to deter criminal activity. You must be able to adapt quickly to new environments and be flexible with your schedule.

Every shift is available. We ask the Flex/Rover Security Officers to know what shifts and days they are available and to commit to their stated schedule availability. They will be called immediately when work is available. We can not guarantee a certain number of hours each week but flex officers command more of an hourly rate. Flex/Rovers will mostly handle call-offs, filling in when needed. Ideally, the Flex/Rovers should be familiar with Retail, Industrial, Residential, Office environments.

With at least three years of security experience, we seek Flex/Rovers who learn quickly, are clean-cut, and have strong customer service skills and a phenomenal work ethic so that they can literally be placed anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

· Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the property and personnel.

· Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.

· Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.

· Write detailed reports of daily activities and incidents.

· Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.

· Work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

· Fill in at various sites within the Los Angeles area, sometimes on short notice.

Qualifications:

· Valid California Guard Card.

· Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.

· Must have a valid DL and their own personal reliable transportation.

· Ability to adapt to different work environments and follow post orders.

· Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Reliable transportation and willingness to commute to various locations.

· Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

· Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
