Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all protocols are followed and that any potential threats are addressed promptly. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and the overall safety of the premises.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular surveillance of the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the facility.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when required for investigations or emergencies.

Skills

• Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV and surveillance equipment.
• Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques.
• Ability to manage conflicts effectively with strong conflict management skills.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.98 – $19.48 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
