Security Guard

Looking to fill the position of Security Guard for LOST DTLA (rooftop bar).

Security is responsible for ensuring the protection of the company’s employees, patrons, and property. In this role, you will be responsible for checking patron’s IDs at the bar entrance, enforcing rules and safety regulations, helping to resolve conflicts, and removing patrons who display signs of intoxication and/or illegal activities. This job usually requires working night and weekend shifts.

Education:

– High School Diploma or equivalent

Relevant Work Experience:

– 2 years of security experience

Preferred Level:

– 3 + years of security experience

Certification/Achievements:

– Detailed understanding of best security policies, practices and the law

– Guard Card

Preferred Level:

– First aid or CPR certifications

Physical Requirements:

– Must be physically fit with great physical strength and agility

– Able to work in a fast paced and changing environment

– Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs

– Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Night shift
