IMMEDIATE HIRING for Part Time Seasonal Armed Security Positions

QUALIFICATIONS:

– BSIS Guard Card

– BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit

– Neat presentable appearance

– Good written & verbal communication skills

*Must have at least one year of security experience*

JOB DESCRIPTION:

– Security company providing armed event security positions for a special event at a single location in LA (near miracle mile) on October 3rd, 4th, & 5th 2024.

– Job description is event security providing a visible deterrent, observation, reporting verbal/written, bag checking, patrols, operating metal detectors and general safety of the premises and personnel. You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the detail and bringing meals which will be consumed onsite. This is a standing post. Duration is 7-9.5hrs/day.

NOTE: Hires for this position will be qualified to work with LSI for other seasonal and part-time positions in the Las Angeles area. With exceptional performance, there is also potential for full-time employment with the company following these events.

SHIFTS:

Thursday, October 3rd: 0700 – 1500hrs (8hrs)

Friday, October 4th: 0700 – 1500hrs (8hrs)

Friday, October 11th: 0700 – 1500hrs (8hrs) | 1500 – 2300hrs (8hrs)

Saturday, October 12th: 0700 – 1500hrs (8hrs) | 1500 – 2300hrs (8hrs)

HIRING PROCESS:

– Open Immediately

COMPENSATION:

– $25/hr for first 8hrs, time and a half for any overtime.

BENEFITS:

– None for seasonal work.

– Full-time employees with LSI are eligible for Health, Vision, and Dental insurance as well as 401(K). Seasonal armed guards who perform well will be more strongly considered for part-time / full-time positions in the company should they choose to apply.

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE:

– None

PROCESS WILL INCLUDE:

– Submission of Resume, copies of permits/licenses and full body picture sent to this ad via email

– Interview with company representative

– Selection

– Placement and Training on job specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES:

– You will be responsible for acquiring and possessing your own BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permits and having them on your person for the duration of the detail

– Bringing your own food which will be consumed onsite

– Equipment: Firearm, cuffs, flashlight, baton/pepper (with appropriate BSIS Permits), mags, ammunition

– Weather appropriate gear. Cold weather, rain, etc.

– Black 5.11 type pants or BDUs & Black patrol boots

LSI PROVISIONS:

– Uniform Shirt / Jacket
