EVENING HOURS: Wednesday + Thursday + Friday + Saturday + Sunday

6pm – 12:30am

The Doorman ensures that the night club maintains legal compliance by checking IDs and must be friendly and welcoming to the patrons entering and exiting the club. The Doorman will be responsible for giving visitors general information about the club, checking tickets, and administers crowd control before, during, & after the shows. This position is responsible for diffusing guest situations using non-aggressive tactics and must adhere to our HANDS – OFF policy.

Duties:

-Monitor staff entry and exit

-Greet guests upon arriving

– Check IDs and scan admission tickets

-Answer customer questions in a professional manner

-Ensure safety for patrons and employees

-Monitor the entrance of the club

-Handle any conflicts in a composed and disciplined manner

-Possess a neat and professional appearance (black suit and tie)

-Must be able to handle crises situations efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

-Minimum 2 year experience working in security

-Valid California Guard Card required

-Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

-Ability to maintain discipline and control the environment

-Ability to handle conflict, and make quick & sound decisions

-Must be physically fit & able to stand for long periods (5-7 hours)

-A plus for those who have military background

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
