Security Officer (Weekend- Graveyard Shift)

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle various security situations professionally. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or unauthorized access. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security fields is highly valued, along with certifications in first aid and CPR. The Security Officer will be an integral part of our safety team, providing peace of mind through proactive security measures.

Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday(12am-8am) *Weekly Pay Available*

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through surveillance systems such as CCTV to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to security, safety, and loss prevention
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate potential issues
• Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports for management review
• Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining security protocols
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns

Qualifications

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or professional security roles preferred
• Certifications in first aid and CPR highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly during emergencies
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is a plus
