About Fortress Armored: Fortress Armored Services company is a Los Angeles based company dealing with all aspects of cash logistics. The professional staff we employ has a combined 20+ years in CIT and cash vault operations. Fortress is seeking highly qualified individuals who have strong driving and security skills for challenging positions as armed Driver/Messengers.

Job Description

• Deliver and pick up valuables at customer locations, banks and cash vaults
• Guard and maintain the safety and security of our employees, vault, and liability at all times
• Remain alert and prepared at all times, protecting the crew and premises while also watching for accidents that could result in a loss
• Operate armored trucks in a safe manner, abiding by all state and local driving regulations
• Ability to work alone and maintain tactical procedures to ensure a secure environment
• Able to work weekends, holidays and/or extended hours
• Maintain radio communication with the vehicle crew and dispatch personnel to ensure a secure transaction
• Other duties as required

The Qualifications You Must Have:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• A valid firearms permit is required
• Guard card Permit is required
• Ability to lift at least 50-75 pounds
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Firearms License (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)
• US work authorization required

The Additional Qualifications We Prefer:

• Six months experience in an Armed Security position, or any military experience, one year experience in transportation of goods and/or 6 months experience in Armored Transportation
• Military Experience
• Trained in the use of firearms (Preferred )

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

• Signing bonus
