Job Description:

As a Security Guard at DCB Hospitality , you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for guests and employees. Your duties will include monitoring the premises, checking identification at the door, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Crowd Control: Maintain a safe and controlled environment by managing entry and exit points, monitoring crowd behavior, and addressing any potential issues swiftly and professionally.
• ID Verification: Verify the identification of patrons to ensure compliance with age restrictions and venue policies.
• Surveillance: Keep a watchful eye on the premises using surveillance systems, and respond promptly to any suspicious activities or incidents.
• Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator in situations that may escalate, using effective communication and conflict resolution skills to diffuse tensions and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, disturbances, or other security-related situations.
• Patron Assistance: Provide assistance and directions to patrons as needed, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaboration with Local Authorities: Cooperate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, ensuring a coordinated response to any incidents.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in security roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform routine patrols, and respond quickly to physical incidents.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patrons and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
• Legal Compliance: Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to nightclub operations and security.
• Licensing: Must possess or be willing to obtain necessary security licenses and certifications.

Working Hours:

Night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods, at least 8 hours, and traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
• Must be able to lift, handle and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
