American Junkie Hermosa Beach seeking Security Hosts

Responsibilities:

• Recognize and greet all regular and future regular clients upon arrival
• Ensuring that EVERY person that comes in the venue is carded, of legal age and not overly intoxicated.
• Having a welcoming and accommodating attitude with every guest
• Being knowledgeable of current and future events at the venue
• Maintaining a professional appearance, dress code, and integrity of the venue at all times
• Diffusing situations calmly and respectfully, preventing an escalation and leaving the guests dignity intact.
• Coordinating and managing communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure we resolve customer concerns
• Ability to keep an open and objective view, listen empathetically, and be respectful always
• Constantly remaining vigilant and spotting potential situations before they arise.
• Remaining adaptable/flexible –enjoying work that requires frequent shifts in direction
• Assisting in removal of tables and chairs and the ability to help the team reset upon completion of the night.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
