Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and licensed Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment at one of our many locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, checking IDs, bag checks, crowd control and ensuring the safety of patrons, personnel and property.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
• Check ID’s
• Conduct bag checks
• Ensure crowd control
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services if necessary

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Prior experience in security, or related fields is preferred
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly when needed
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays when needed

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
