Commercial Installation Technician

Position Summary: As a Commercial Installation Technician at SafeTouch Security, you'll complete installations for video surveillance, access control systems, and virtual security guard applications.
Responsibilities:
- Install cabling in neatly and in accordance with all codes and standards
- Install & configure security devices
- Follow all safety guidelines
- Assist with installations and upgrades.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Perform limited travel as needed.
- Accurately complete required paperwork.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory for service vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.
- Experience installing electronic security, low voltage or electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic networking skills.
- Ability to pass drug screening and background requirements.
- Valid driver's license and insurance-approved driving record. Maintain less than 3 points on fleet driving policy.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 25 pounds occasionally.
- Work on a ladder up to 20’.
- Work outside.
- Perform all other physical tasks associated with the job.
Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt
Hours: Monday through Friday
