Position Overview: We are seeking reliable and proactive individuals to join our team as a Part Time Flex Security Officer. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the protection of our community while gaining valuable experience in the security industry.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in vehicles to ensure the security and safety of premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to security threats.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients, visitors, and employees with inquiries and requests.
• Conduct regular security checks and inspections to identify and address potential security risks or hazards.
• Enforce site-specific security policies and procedures to maintain order and compliance.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches, and take appropriate action as needed.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports documenting security-related activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related field preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid Florida Security Officer License.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle emergency situations with professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
