We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Access Control Supervisor to oversee security operations during weekend shifts, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 AM to 7 PM, with additional coverage on Wednesdays. This role is vital in managing access points, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining a secure environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a keen eye for surveillance, and a passion for safety and security. Duties

• Supervise access control procedures at designated entry points during scheduled shifts
• Authorize and verify the credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors entering the premises
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity around the facility and perimeter
• Manage conflict resolution and de-escalate situations effectively while maintaining safety standards
• Perform routine inspections of access points, fences, and security equipment to ensure operational integrity
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident logs, and surveillance documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques
• Experience in law enforcement, military, or security roles preferred
• Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally using conflict management skills
• First aid certification along with CPR training is highly desirable
• Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures
• Excellent communication skills for effective team coordination and reporting
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high levels of vigilance

Pay: $18.50 – $19.75 per hour
