We are seeking an energetic and vigilant Access Control Officer/Rover to join our team. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and maintaining a secure environment during scheduled shifts on Thursday and Friday nights from 11 PM to 7 AM, as well as Saturday and Sunday nights from 7 PM to 7 AM. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding safety standards through active patrols and surveillance. Duties

• Authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while verifying credentials
• Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor premises continuously
• Perform regular patrols of designated areas to ensure security integrity
• Respond promptly to security incidents or alarms, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
• Maintain detailed logs of access activities, patrols, and incident reports
• Enforce loss prevention measures by monitoring for suspicious activity or theft
• Assist with conflict management to de-escalate situations calmly and professionally

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarm monitoring
• Ability to perform first aid and CPR in emergency situations
• Background in law enforcement, military, or security preferred
• Excellent conflict management skills with a calm demeanor under pressure
• Experience in loss prevention techniques and security protocols
• Familiarity with CCTV operation, access control systems, and basic emergency response procedures
• Effective communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members
