Job Summary:

The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees at the Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach. The Security Guard will patrol the premises and respond to any incidents or emergencies that may arise. The ideal candidate will have experience in security and be able to handle stressful situations with professionalism and tact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor and investigate any disturbances.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as accidents and injuries, and provide assistance as needed.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
