Unarmed Security Guard Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure effective surveillance of the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor during interactions with the public.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations as required.
• Provide first aid or CPR assistance when needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is an asset.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
