Security Officer – Third Shift: Full Time & Part Time Openings

Job Title: Security Officer

Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
– Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
– Conduct thorough inspections of bags, packages, and personal belongings as required
– Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Experience:
– Possess a valid Class D and/or Class G License.
– Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field preferred
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
– Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and conflict management techniques is an asset
– Understanding of loss prevention strategies and techniques

Skills:
– Strong observation and surveillance skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
– Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
– Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb several flights of stairs.
