Experienced Armed Security Patrol Officer (Must Be Able To Work All Shifts)

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have own transportation to and from work
• Must have valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid State of Florida Class "D" Security Officer license
• Must have a valid State of Florida Class "G" Armed Security Officer license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have own weapon and duty gear
• Must be able to work ALL shifts
• Must be able to work weekends
• Previous experience in security or related field preferred
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
• Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation
• Must have exceptional attention to detail and report writing skills
• Quick learner, willing and able to adapt to any assigned site.
• Live in the area and willing to travel to sites.
• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Experience conducting vehicle patrols
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Provide armed security services to ensure the safety and security of the premises
• Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate potential security incidents
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required
• Check doors and windows for any signs of breach
• Detect and Deter suspicious activity
• Respond to alarms and calls for service by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Demonstrate strong writing skills for report writing and documentation purposes
• Submit detailed reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
