CERTIFIED SAFE SCHOOL OFFICER

We are looking for a dedicated School Security Officer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and enforcing security protocols.
• Responding to emergencies and critical incidents.
• Building positive relationships and preventing conflicts.
• Conducting safety drills and training sessions.
• Preparing reports and related documentation.

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Training in law enforcement, military, or security.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in the military, law enforcement, corrections, security, or emergency response.
• Advanced proficiency in firearms and tactical training.
• Intermediate knowledge of emergency response systems and protocols, as well as incident reporting and documentation tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move both indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

Key Competencies:

• Crisis management and problem-solving.
• Communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of school policies and law enforcement procedures.

Required Licenses:

• Valid D, G, DL, and CCW licenses.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Certifications:

• SAFE School Officer Certificate.

Other Requirements:

• Must pass a drug test, psychological evaluation, and background check.
• Must possess own equipment: firearm, duty belt (with Level 3 retention holster), and a total of 5 magazines.
• Must be available to meet all in-person job requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
