Unarmed Guard (RWB)

Beyond Security is actively seeking highly skilled and qualified Unarmed Security Officers to join our team at the Red White and Bloom account in Sanderson, FL. This vital position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and company assets, while promoting a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Access Control: Monitor and control entry points to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to the facility.
• 
  Patrolling: Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify potential security risks and irregularities.
• 
  Incident Response: Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, disturbances, and other incidents.
• 
  Customer Interaction: Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with staff, clients, and visitors.
• 
  Monitoring Systems: Operate surveillance systems and alarm equipment to ensure site security.
• 
  Compliance Enforcement: Enforce compliance with company policies and state laws.
• 
  Report Writing: Document daily activity, incidents, and any unusual occurrences with accuracy and detail.
• 
  Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with Curaleaf staff, law enforcement, and emergency services when necessary.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Florida Class “D” Security License.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in security, preferably at a warehouse, dispensary, or high-value facility.
• Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations.
• 
  CPR/First Aid certification.
• Training in conflict resolution or de-escalation techniques.

• High level of situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Calm and effective under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Dependable, with a strong work ethic.

Work Environment:

• Duties involve indoor and outdoor patrols, sometimes in adverse weather.
• Frequent standing, walking, and light physical activity are required.
