United Protective Services is looking for a 30 hour part time Residential Security Officer. This is a permanent shift. Additional hours can be added from another site to make full time.
Great for beginners in security!!
Schedule $12.50
77007 (Must be within 15 miles of site)
Drivers license required!
Friday 2000-0600 -10 hours
Saturday 1900-0500-10 hours
Sunday 1900-0500-10 hours

Job Duties
- Be prompt to assignments and in complete uniform.
- Maintain a professional image in accordance with policy & procedures
- Greets customers, visitors, and employees in a polite and friendly manner.
- Be proactive in knowing all revisions to post orders and general information.
- Patrol physical property or maintain fixed post position, being diligent to report any suspicious activity and investigate accidents and criminal acts.
- Monitor cameras or equipment in a continuous fashion as outlined in the post orders.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures, and regulations to be able to respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
- Complete Daily Activity Reports, Logbook entries, Incident Reports and all relevant reports related to job assignment.
- Make recommendations to management on improvements to safety and loss prevention processes as identified during daily routine.
- Have knowledge of any life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV system computer, and other such equipment to complete job assignments.
- Know authorized contractor personnel who are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
- Communicate daily with Security Supervisor any new security issues or changes that need to be considered or implemented.
- Deny unauthorized visitors, guests and contractors’ access into the residential property.
