Armed Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires proficiency in conflict management and surveillance techniques. The Armed Guard will be expected to respond effectively to emergencies, monitor security systems, and enforce safety protocols.

Duties

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities or breaches of security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct thorough inspections of premises and property to ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets from theft or damage.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

Qualifications

• Valid armed security guard license/certificate required.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring protocols.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-stress environments.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
