Rover officers build their own schedules and pick up shifts when wanting work. Should you decide that being able to make your own schedule, not have a set post, having fluctuating hours that aren't guaranteed and not having a permanent schedule is not for you, please let us know immediately so that we can find a better fit job / schedule for you.
I understand that:
I must maintain an active Texas driver’s license.
I must maintain an active security license.
I must obtain a TWIC card (company paid and deducted) within 90 days of hire.
I must fulfill my duties at every post to which I am assigned. If unsure of the post orders, I will let the scheduler know so that training can be scheduled.
I agree to work scheduled shift or day that I request, without restrictions.
Some shifts offered could be as few as 6 hours and as much as 18 hours.
I agree to be cross trained at as many contract locations as possible.
I must return calls from the Scheduler or Account Manager within 30 minutes. Failure to do so may result in review and removal from Rover officer status.
I must maintain a working cell/smart phone with the EHub application downloaded and running so that I may receive open shift notifications. Any changes in cell phone number must be reported to the Scheduler or the main office immediately.
Shift Refusal – should I refuse several shifts; the refusal will be tracked in my personnel file. I may be assigned a permanent job site at a lesser pay rate.
Should I have 2 or more instances of being unreachable or not returning a call by the scheduler within 1 hour in any 30-day period, my eligibility for Rover employment will be suspended and I will be assigned a permanent schedule at post pay rates.
Rover officers are eligible for shift bonuses. From time to time, you will see bonuses offered through Ehub.
