Armed Security Officer

Job Overview:

• Must be a current TX- DPS Level 3 Guard Cardholder
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Preferred: Military and/or Law Enforcement Experience
• Responsibilities:
• Patrolling exterior of building.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Perform first aid or CPR in emergencies until medical professionals arrive.

Experience:

– Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role

– Knowledge of security operations and procedures

– Ability to handle conflicts and diffuse potentially dangerous situations

– Strong attention to detail and observation skills

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

– Basic computer skills for report-writing purposes

Skills:
– Conflict management: Ability to handle conflicts calmly and effectively
– First aid: Knowledge of basic first aid procedures is required
– Law enforcement: Experience in law enforcement or related field is beneficial
– CPR: Certification in CPR is preferred but not required
