Armed Patrol Supervisor

Med Security Inc. is looking to fill a position as an Armed Patrol Supervisor. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Available Shifts: Open shift will be discussed during interview.

MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!! A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED.

Job Responsibilities:

This individual will be required to visit each of our locations using the company vehicle. Duties will include conducting post inspections, exercising good judgement when resolving conflicts i.e. disciplinary actions, and assisting with basic scheduling. This individual should also expect to sit post in the event an emergency occurs after completing two weeks training sitting at a post, and follow post specifics as seen below:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property on foot or in vehicle, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting or denying entry.
• Prevents unapproved or unlawful entry, controls entrances, the movement of people and vehicles, and parking.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, reporting trespassers to local law enforcement.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Prepares logs and reports as required.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Ensures operation of company owned equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements by following manufacturer’s instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions or calling for repairs.
• Obtains help by sounding alarms.
• Reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives or company management.
• Preserves order and acts to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle, checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations.

Required

• Must have active security guard license level 3 (Armed) (In Hand).
• Your own firearm and duty belt (In Hand)
• Must be a U.S citizen. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Not have been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Successful work experience in a security guard setting dealing with clients for at least one (1) year preferred
• Clean driving record***

MUST WORK WEEKENDS!

Preferred: Prior military with Honorable discharge or former law enforcement.
