Armed Security Officer Position in Southeast Houston, TX 77054

We are hiring a professional security officer for a multifamily (apartment) site in 77054 to perform vehicle and foot patrol. They are three properties that are less than half a mile apart, three properties that are considered one property.

The role is part-time. Shifts available: Four days per week. MONDAY, TUESDAY,WEDNESDAY, SUNDAY FROM 5PM-5AM. Must have duty belt, weapon, COMMISSIONED security license, vehicle in good working condition, and a smart phone with space to download apps. The pay is $15.50 per hour, plus $1.00 to use your own vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Perform access controls at gates.
• Foot patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.

• Vehicle patrol with your own vehicle.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Requirements:

• Level III Commssioned Texas Security Certification is required or registered as a Security Guard in Texas DPS

• Previous experience in Security preferred

• Strong customer service
• Tech-savvy with experience in electronic report writing.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Must have reliable transportation and a working smart phone.
