Peace Officer

Good Guard Security is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Off Duty Police Officer to join our team in providing essential security services within schools in Houston, Texas. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
1.De-Escalation: Employ de-escalation techniques to handle conflicts and prevent incidents.
2. Patrol: Conduct patrols on foot, bicycle, or in a patrol vehicle to monitor and prevent criminal activities.
3. Security: Respond to and manage security incidents, providing a visible and reassuring presence.
4. Report Writing: Document incidents, write detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of investigations.
5. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, and incidents requiring police intervention.
7. Public Assistance: Assist citizens in distress, provide information, and support crime victims.
10. Training: Participate in Active Shooter trainings.

Experience:
– Previous experience in law enforcement or a related field is preferred.
– Familiarity with loss prevention strategies.
– Certification in CPR and proficiency in first aid procedures is advantageous.
– Proficiency in surveillance techniques for monitoring suspicious activities.

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
