**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, employees, and visitors. This is a critical role that requires a combination of surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention skills. The successful applicant will be a certified professional with a background in law enforcement or a related field. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a positive impact on the community. **Duties:** – Monitor and patrol the facility, ensuring that all areas are secure and free of potential threats. – Conduct surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security systems to prevent and detect criminal activity. – Respond to security breaches and emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed. – Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property. – Manage and resolve conflicts and incidents, using conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations. – Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to investigate and prevent criminal activity. – Maintain a high level of visibility and awareness, interacting with employees and visitors to ensure their safety and security. – Perform duties in a militarized environment, adhering to strict protocols and procedures. – Stay up-to-date with changes in security protocols, laws, and regulations. **Qualifications:** – Must have a valid certificate in first aid, CPR, and conflict management. – Proven experience in law enforcement or a related field. – Experience in loss prevention and security operations. – Strong surveillance skills, with experience using CCTV systems. – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Physical stamina and the ability to lift or move heavy objects, as needed. – Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. – Certification in law enforcement or a related field is an asset. **Skills:** – Surveillance – First aid – CPR – Loss prevention – CCTV – Law enforcement – Militarized – Certificate – Conflict management

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
