ARMED Security Patrol Officer – guaranteed 22 hours a week. Day shift only Monday – Friday.

Overview
This position is in the Greenspoint area, Front Desk Office Building. This is a day shift only 7 am to 6 pm no weekends or night shifts. Off on Federal Holidays.

Minimum of set 22 hours a week guaranteed, (7 am to 6 pm) but additional hours are normally available. The position is required to work on call for staff call offs or when additional officers are requested by client.

Your first interview will be a ZOOM meeting with the Operations manager and a Forti Security Partner/Owner for this contract.

You will start training right away after passing criminal background check, drug screening, providing proof of Level III Security License with the State of Texas and most recent copy of hand gun certification.

• All original and renewing applicants for a commissioned security officer license are required to complete the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI).

• Self Defense Tactics course must be included as part of level 3 training for commissioned security officers (HB3424)

Primary roles of this Security Officer position:

• A current State of Texas Private Security Board License preferred, but not required

• Conduct internal and external patrols throughout the facility

• Deter, detect, report and record any criminal or unauthorized activity on client property.

• Report safety and security incidents that they become aware of during their tour of duty.

• Prevent loss to client property from fire or equipment failure. Control access to client property.

• Enforce the rules and regulations set forth by the client.

• Be a U.S. citizen.

• Have no felony convictions, no convictions for misdemeanors involving moral turpitude (verified by a fingerprint based criminal background check).

• Be of good moral character (as verified by applicant-provided character references and applicant’s credit history and driver’s license record when applicable).

• Be able to verify/explain all gaps in employment and not have been terminated from previous employment for other than honorable circumstances.

• Be in generally good health and physically able to perform the duties assigned.

• Have a telephone or other reliable means of communication.

• Have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

• Have a high school education or suitable equivalent.

• Be literate in the English language and be able to read and understand written orders and instructions, complete standard forms and logs, and compose reports that convey complete information. These requirements are the minimum necessary for an applicant to be considered for employment with Forti Security & Investigation, LLC. However, clients may specify additional requirements for personnel assigned to their sites.
