Armed Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Duties
– Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion
– Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
– Apprehend criminals and evict violators
– Write comprehensive reports outlining observations and activities during assigned shifts

Requirements
– Possess a valid Armed Security Officer certificate
– Proficient in CCTV monitoring and surveillance techniques
– Skilled in conflict management and de-escalation tactics
– Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures
– Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
– Military or law enforcement background is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Night shift
• On call
• Overnight shift

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Houston, TX 77092 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Houston, TX 77092: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
