Armed Security Officer – TxDOT

Come join the winning Archangel Protective Services team! If you are a great licensed Armed Security Officer, available to work full time or part time (with OPEN availability and are able to start immediately), we are looking for you!!

Location: NW Houston area!

Qualifications:

• MUST have a minimum of 3 years of ARMED security experience within the last five years. (this does not include training time)
• MUST possess a valid Armed Security License (specifically trained in personal protection by Texas DPS and possess the required state of Texas permits and directives to carry a weapon or concealed weapon)
• MUST be certified in First Aid and CPR.

Requirements for the job:

• Have basic computer skills and will need to be familiar with computer operations.
• Have a High School Diploma, GED or HISET (High School Equivalency Test)
• Ability to walk unassisted for a minimum of 300 yards, ability to climb a minimum of 5 flights of stairs and be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand continuously for up to two hours at a time and up to 12 hours in a 24 hour period.

Requirements for Driving Personnel:

• MUST posses a valid drivers license for the state of Texas
• NO DUI or DWI charges on background
• Cannot have more than two moving violations on driving record within the last 3 years.
