Shift Supervisor/Security Officer

We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. Officer will work with Property Management, complete necessary paperwork, and must have computer experience as well as excellent clerical and Supervisory skills as you will be the Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises to establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people onto the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure exit after end of operations
• Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Skills

• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Licensed as a security officer
• High School diploma is required
• Excellent communication skills
• Clerical skills
• At least 5 years Supervisor skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Night shift
