Armed Guard Texas

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or military service, demonstrating exceptional conflict management skills and the ability to maintain a secure environment. As an Armed Guard, you will play a crucial role in protecting personnel and property while ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.

• · Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, accidents, and prevent fires.

MUST LIVE IN THE ALTA MESA TEXAS & OR FORT WORTH TEXAS AREA 15-30 minutes.

• VALID LEVEL 2 GUARD CARD
• 1 OR MORE YEARS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS

· Conduct foot patrols

· Monitor activities.

· Wellness checks

· Access control

· Safety escorts

· Using provided communication devices.

· Represent UPS services.

· Properly wear the issued uniform

· Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services

· Provide friendly services to customers, employees and visitors.

· Other duties as described in Post Orders.

Physical requirements:

· Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols.

· Able to stand 8-12 hours a day.

· Able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)

Shifts Available:

• GARLAND TEXAS (5PM -1AM)
• MESQUITE TEXAS (5PM-1AM)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 – $24.00

Schedule:

• ALTA MESA (4PM- 12AM)
• FORT WOTH (3PM-11PM)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Guard Card (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• ALTA MESA TEXAS (76133)(Required)
• FORT WORTH TEXAS (76116) (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• ALTA MESA TEXAS 76133: Relocate before starting work (Required)
