Overnight Security Officer – Eagle Mountain Lake

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join Team Sunset in Ft. Worth on Eagle Mountain Lake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

This overnight position is for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights (weekly), approx. 4.5hrs per night @ Eagle Mountain Lake with a fuel reimbursement each pay period.

Duties

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed nightly reports online.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism.

• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Applicant must be physically fit enough to walk / patrol in an outdoor environment.
