Job Responsibilities:

As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Serving as a visible, physical deterrent to prevent and respond to security threats.
• Patrolling assigned areas to ensure safety, security, and compliance with regulations.
• Addressing any security incidents or emergencies in a calm, efficient, and appropriate manner.
• Ensuring that all security-related issues are resolved promptly, including conducting investigations when necessary.
• Enforcing policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all individuals in the facility.
• Communicating effectively with clients, staff, and local authorities during security events or incidents.
• Writing detailed incident reports, documenting any unusual activity or security breaches.
• Ensuring the proper handling and use of weapons as required by your duties.

Required Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Valid Texas level 3 armed security License.
• Previous experience as an armed security officer or law enforcement background preferred.
• Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor during stressful or emergency situations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the Dallas, Fort Worth, or Arlington areas.
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding security and safety.
• First Aid/CPR certification (a plus).
