Armed Security Officer

Job description

Responsibilities:

– Conduct regular surveillance of premises using CCTV cameras and other security equipment
– Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals
– Enforce security protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
– Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, taking appropriate action as necessary
– Conduct patrols to ensure the premises are secure and free from unauthorized access
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities

Qualifications:

– Must have a valid armed security officer license/certificate
– Previous experience in law enforcement or military is a plus.
– Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
– Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures is an asset
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
