Vehicle Patrol Security Officer (UNARMED)
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant high-caliber Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. Available positions include Full-Time, Part-Time, Flex, Rover and On-call. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their employees, patrons and assets. Patrolling and monitoring a specific location or area, often using a vehicle, to ensure security and prevent crime or damage. Key responsibilities include maintaining a presence, monitoring surroundings, reporting suspicious activity, responding to alarms, and potentially collaborating with other emergency services. As an Vehicle Patrol Unarmed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in deterring criminal activity and ensuring the safety of individuals on the premises.

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Pay Range: $17.75 – $18.05 per Hour Pay Cycle: Every 2 Weeks via Direct Deposit

Work Schedules

***24 hours – 3 shifts all year-round, including nights, weekends and holidays.

*** 6am – 6pm (Monday – Friday)

Work Requirements/Responsibilities

Unarmed Security Guards are required to perform a variety of tasks dealing with the safety and security of our client’s patrons, employees, and property.

Such tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Building checks

2. Locking and unlocking facilities

3. Writing reports

4. Controlling entry to site areas

5. Monitoring site areas

6. Responding to emergencies

7. Checking identification

8. First Aid/First Responder

9. Deterring – (a). Vagrancy (b). Disruptiveness (c). Violence (d). Unauthorized sales and advertising (e). Vandalism

Security Guards must maintain the security and integrity of the site with a constant focus on community/customer relations. Also, our Unarmed Security Guards must:

1. Call for local law enforcing assistance prior to investigation of actual or indicated violations at site areas.

2. Cooperate with local police, state police, and our client’s personnel who have proof of identification and validity of purpose.

3. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

4. Be visible and accessible to the public for the purpose of providing information to the public and obvious security presence in the site area to give the public confidence in the safety of the area.

6. Security Guards must not have family, friends or other visitors accompany them to, or visit them at any site area while performing services.

7. Security guards must maintain the security and integrity of the site with a constant focus on community/customer relations.

8. Security guards must receive, document, and store found articles during the execution of services under this agreement. Security guards must turn in found articles at our client’s designated place at the conclusion of the security guard’s shift.

9. Security guards must not have family, friends or other visitors accompany them to, or visit them at any site area while performing services under this.

10. Security guards must perform services with their full attention and must not have personal devices or materials during their shift that might distract from the performance of services.

11. Security Guards must comply with carrying the post order for work location on their person and must strictly adhere to the requirements therein.

UNARMED SECURITY GUARD MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A. Must be licensed as a Non-Commissioned Security Guard by the State of Texas.

B. Security guards must have a minimum (2) year of experience in security or, law

enforcement, military, or related industry.

C. Security guards with prior military service must have been released from service

under honorable or general conditions.

D. Security guards must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

E. Security guards should be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.

F. Security guards must be legal residents of the United States of America.

G. Security guards that include driving a vehicle must possess a current, valid State

of Texas Driver’s License.

H. Security Guards will provide proof of good health and free of physical

handicaps or impairments that would interfere with the performance of duties.

Training/Experience

Security guards will be trained and or experienced in performing the following:

1. Meeting and interacting with the public

2. Enforcing order

3. Curbing violent behavior

4. Protecting residents, visitors, and employees from bodily injury or

harassment

5. Preventing theft and damage to property

6. Search and seizure

7. Handcuffing

8. De-escalation

9. Observation

10. Reporting

11. First Aid

J. Security guards shall and or knowledgeable in the following:

1. Local, State, and Federal Laws that pertain to their duties

2. Responses to Mental Health consumer in crisis.

3. Cultural Diversity

4. Maintaining poise and self-control under stress

K. In addition to being subject to standard drug and background checks

Security guards must not, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, HAVE FELONY

CONVICTIONS OR FELONY CHARGES PENDING.

Your Required Equipment

You must possess your own equipment including:

Reliable mode of transportation

Appearance – Law Enforcement style uniform

Shoes: All black boots

Company Uniform/Equipment
