The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Physical Security Coordinator. This service position will participate in all facets of the corporate security program to ensure compliance including security, contracted, personnel staffing and system operations. This position ensures compliance with Enterprise security standards, procedures and provide assistance in support of Facilities operations.
Day In The Life
Perform security functions, coordinate staff and support vendors, respond to emergency calls, and support business contingency efforts when required. Ensure security staff are performing with a high degree of efficiency and timeliness as required to support established internal service level agreements and security demands.
Coordinate daily physical security operations at multiple facilities to ensure compliance to standards, procedures and all compliances.
Responsible for accurate records, and issuance of building access. Complete an annual physical verification of badge and key access per site documented by a final report. Ensure timely termination of access and retrieval of badge and keys within 24 hrs.
Maintain physical security documentation for accuracy, which includes but not limited to; physical security procedures, post orders, forms, documentation of security guard training, and security guard schedule to ensure these materials are reviewed, and revised for accuracy minimum of annually and/or as needed for the efficiency of the department.
Provide support to Facilities Operations, oversee vendor work performance, invoice processing, facilities ticket system, maintain seating plans, vendor list, respond to BCP efforts, and vendor contracts to ensure building operations.
Resolve and escalate situations that impact staff, building operations or the security operations.
Coordinate security personnel including training, coaching and resolving service quality issues.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Required – AA degree 1-2 years’ experience in related Vendor oversight
Preferred – Membership in related field Associations. Compliance knowledge (PCI, SOC, NCUA, FFIEC, ADA, etc.).
Skills
Knowledge of physical security and associated risks.
Physical Security compliance knowledge (e.g., PCI, SOC, NCUA, FFIEC, etc.).
Working knowledge of video surveillance and other physical security equipment.
Proficient PC knowledge and the use of standard software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint, as well as other security type programs (e.g., AMAG, Avigilon, etc.).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good planning and organization skills, as well as ability to prioritize workload using good judgement, while balancing the need for an immediate response, accuracy and completeness of information.
Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems, driving solutions to completion.
Demonstrate flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
Ability to investigate site security incidents and provide detail reports, and/or escalation.
