Armed Security Officer OVERNIGHTS 7PM-7AM

Overnight Shifts Monday – Sunday 7 PM – 7 AM

Pay $18.00 – $20.00 hourly

We’re looking for highly competent armed security officers to join our team to patrol a construction site to safeguard equipment/tools. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a security officer or guard, as well as training in self-defense and first aid. He or she will have a sharp eye with quick reaction time in the detection of any suspicious or criminal behavior, and prevention of theft or vandalism.

Responsibilities:

• Patrolling: Security guards conduct regular patrols around the construction site to ensure that all areas are secure. This includes inspecting fences, gates, doors, and windows for any signs of damage or attempted break-ins. They also keep an eye out for any suspicious activities or individuals on or near the premises.
• Emergency response: Construction sites can present various hazards such as fires, accidents or medical emergencies that require immediate attention. Security guards are trained in first aid and emergency procedures so they can quickly respond to such situations before help arrives.
• Equipment and material protection: Construction projects often involve expensive equipment and materials that are vulnerable to theft and damage. Construction site security guards secure these items by regularly inspecting them, keeping track of their location, and ensuring they are properly stored.
• Record keeping: Security guards maintain detailed records of all activities and incidents that occur on-site. This includes incident reports, equipment checks, and any other relevant information. These records help track security breaches, respond to emergencies effectively, and provide evidence in case of legal disputes.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE a valid Commissioned License
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed
• Working knowledge of basic security techniques

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Armed Security: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Commissioned License (Required)
